I-75 isn't the longest North to South interstate. I-75 is 1, 786 miles. I-95 is 1, 923 miles.

As someone who lives in Lexington, the argument could be made I-75 doesn’t go _through_ Lexington. Instead, it flanks the east side of the city. This is a stupid correction I just made and I feel stupid for it

A fun alternative route to end up in the gulf is us 31. It goes from Michigan to Alabama I think lol that is now basically i 65 and I 69

I originally thought that the 5 and 95 were longer than 75 but it makes sense with the east/west movement for the interstate.

Interesting fact is I-75's southernmost part actually goes east-west across the Everglades.
