Why Are Erasers Shaped Like This?

Wow this video blew up! I was asking YOU why they are shaped like rectangles, but I did some research and here's what I found:

💰Manufacturing efficiency - It's much more cost effective to produce erasers in this shape since they can be mass produced at a lower cost.
📏Large Surface Area - the rectangle shape is very helpful for covering large areas all at once.
📐Precision Control: The slanted corner can be used to target tiny areas, and although not as tiny as the Kokuyo Mirikeshi it is obviously better than something like a kneadable eraser for this purpose!

Nah, the best erasers were the long ones the shape of pens, and you could push it up out the case like a box cutter

use the kneadable eraser, it's cheap dustless, can be easily cleaned, don't get dirty easily, Don, t get effected by oil, can be used to clean any minute shape or Big shapes easily. 👍🏻👍🏻

You can always trim the pink one with a knife.

The ones built into pencils are the real problem erasers. Either they get overused or they fall off after a few uses. They also get thrown away with the pencil when the pencil gets dropped one too many times.

For those that don’t know it’s easy to clean your erasers even the ones at the end of your pencils. All you need is your dirty graphite covered eraser and have a pair of jeans on. I personally bring my knee up to my chest use it as a stable surface of sorts to rub my dirty graphite and pencil lead covered eraser on. The friction between your jeans and the eraser, well eraser the graphite and pencil lead off your eraser My old art teacher taught me it when she saw my pile of eraser covered in graphite and pencil lead.

Who knew? This randomly popped. I have ALWAYS LOVED erasers! I had no idea there were so many others. I have so many memories as a child get erasers as a special treat.
