How to "play" a tremendously difficult song on a tremendously difficult-to-play instrument? Enjoy!

The song is DragonForce - Through The Fire And Flames

He can move from note to note faster than the camera's shutter speed, creating the illusion of stillness. He is truly a master of this technique.

One of my favourite genres of music is covers played on absurd instruments. This is marvellous.

The dedication to learn how to do this without any editing and inhumane reflexes is incredible.

This guy knows how to move his hand pleasurably to the music.
I didn't think he could hold it for that long.

It’s incredible how it’s explicitly stated there’s 0% editing and he’s naturally moving this fast, is it possible to learn this power?

As someone currently taking a filmaking class, I can only imagine the pain and suffering editing this must have caused. My condolences, and amazing job!

IDK how many people noticed, but the fact that you recreated the music video for the solo was amazing. I loved this!

As someone who has done an adequate amount of tedious editing, this is impressive. Well done.

This feels like late 2000s YouTube, I love it ❤️

I did a stop motion project like this in high school with a guitar hero guitar, with this song. When you said "hours of video editing later", I REALLY felt that. The thing is, I could actually play the damn thing, so I gave up on stop motion after the beginning intro part and just continued the video from there with just plain footage of my hands and the screen. I got an A on the project. My teacher said "it was a cool reveal when it switched from stop motion to real time, showing that you can actually play the song on guitar hero. That was pretty crazy". I happily accepted the compliment, knowing that the switch to real time was out of sheer laziness, not wanting to go through that agonizing editing process anymore.

The amount of skill and speed he has is in credible. He can play so fast and with such ease that it looks as if he is teleporting to the next note

Love that the text labeling every note is very much for us and definitely not just there to make the nightmare of editing this slightly more bearable. Fantacticly done

I can't believe he actually managed to do this in one take without editing. I think Herman Li might be jealous of that skill!

More covers, please! This thing sounds like it was made to cover the original DOOM's soundtrack.

0:57 and the part after just tickles my brain so much. I love it.

So there’s a new way to describe that hand motion.

“I’m just playing my Lego guitar man.”

I love how the sped-up-in-studio part of Sam's Solo (1:12) is every bit as fast as I was expecting.

I heard one suggestion to call this "Through the bits and bytes". Such a nice piece of work!

I like how it's explicitly stated that there is zero editing and this video is filmed completely in one take. Like I can't believe he broke space and time and made multiple forms of himself and how percussion and bass just magically appeared in the background, like that's so impressive.

Props to him for transcending time and space to make large jumps with extreme precision within milliseconds and playing the keys with a single finger
