I'm only just realizing now that Genki did have some uncommonly memorable characters for a language learning textbook. I haven't opened it in 5 years, but this video brought back memories of Robert Smith, the slacker who sleeps in class, and can't remember his textbooks or answer questions to save his life. And poor Takeshi, forever the boke. 😅

Genuinely makes me sad to see a viewcount below 100 on an over 6 month old video that clearly had some effort put into it.
Just watched a few of your videos and enjoyed them a lot, then also saw you sadly stopped making them about half a year ago. Would be really cool if you could make videos again since imo you have great potential, but at the same time I can imagine how demotivating it must be to put work into videos that not many people seem to watch...
