Breaking the Magician's Code: Magic's Biggest Secrets Finally Revealed is a series of television shows produced by Nash Entertainment in which the closely guarded secrets behind classic magic tricks and illusions are exposed by the Masked Magician, aided by his beautiful assistants.

The enormously popular TV specials and series featured the incognito magician performing large-scale illusions and a few smaller-scale close-up magic tricks... then revealing the secrets of how the tricks were done.

Hard to believe its been over 25 years ago since this was on TV, I remember watching this show around 1998 / 1999.

Look carefully and you can see the hinged blade finish closing in the reassembly.
Credit to the magician's assistants. They are the ones who distract, deceive, distort, and contort for the "magician" to successfully pull off the illusion. They're the one's making the magic happen in the most uncomfortable of places.

They all look like they are put together pretty well to me. I sure hope they get those boxes put back together in the right order. He has 192 combinations to work with. I'm holding my breath.

2:38 it's easy to see the difference between the front and back of the boxes. The backs are a few inches thick while the front is just the thin doors. Edit: 5:02 is even better.

Notice the magician doesn't show you the blade with the secret slit and quickly removes it.
The rest he exposes both sides 😉.
