How would i set my worksheet to automatically organize my data by the date. Let's say I have a monthly report and at the end of the month I forgot to enter a line and I want to automatically have it go in the order that it needed to be without having to highlight the entire worksheet. Is that possible? Hope that makes sense. I am new to Excel and found this video very helpful. Thank you

Hi if someone can help me
I need sort workers by seniority. I will pick 20 tendon workers from column A where all are sort by seniority, and paste them in column B with not seniority order, then I need to sort them by seniority..

"in order to do this all cells must be the same size" This is the message i keep getting. Is there a way around this? .:. I made a list of itemize expenses. .:. I merged cells together. Date is 1 Cell, Category is 2 Cells, Description is 11 Cells, Cost is 1 Cell .:. "Merged Across Left to Right" .:. I want to be able to sort all data by date.
