Helllooooo there and welcome back to Skyrim mods! Today I’m showcasing 10(+1) mods that enhance the immersion all around Skyrim, in the cities and in the environment around us. I think the last video I created about immersion mods was two years ago, and even that was more about roleplay anyway, so I’m super stoked to finally do a proper IMMERSHION video, haha. Wow ships on the horizon adds another layer to the world I wasn't even aware of. I do think these games need a bigger sense of the outside world and that mod is a good start.

Ships on the Horizon was such a cool discovery for me when I found it. It felt like something that obviously should be a mod, but I had never even thought about the idea of other ships at sea before. Kudos to the mod author!

These mods are so small but have such a huge impact! I have my fast travel turned off so I'm still regularly spending time with the carriages, and I'll definitely be adding these to the lineup. Thank you so much for posting!

Sidenote: If you're thinking about other stuff to add to your patreon levels, maybe some blooper reels? Mispronunciations, instances where you're trying to record and an npc interrupts, that sort of thing?

I have watched a few videos, and plan to watch many more, but this one I'm definitely going to save and come back to. Planning on doing a survival run, so things that make the world seem more alive like many of the mods in this video is exactly what I was looking for. Thank you for making it! Hi. I just wanted to say that your channel inspired me to begin a role-play character who attends the Bards' College. To make it immersive, the main mods I have used are Bards Reborn, Skyrim's Got Talent, some additional songs, and Sidequests of Skyrim. So far, my character hasn't strayed too far from Solitude, just attending lessons, taking exams with 'Malukah Hope-singer' (while the real Malukah sings The Dragonborn Comes on my loading screen) playing at inns, and running nearby errands, and slowly getting into other quests as they arise. It has been the best playthrough I have ever done! I've surprised myself at how truly different everything feels by setting myself a clear path to role-play... and how it is constantly opening up new possible avenues to explore quests and motivations in entirely different ways.

I love your mod suggestions. I've been using Courier Delivers to NPCs and Mikhail's Whale Bones myself. I'd also recommend Northern Roads, just for the additional points of interest it includes. Other little immersive mods I like are Use Those Blankets and The Dragonborn Dreams.

Moths and ships are cute! I'm also surprised to see so many mods for the carriage! I normally just walk (not even running) so I didn't notice them much.
I do run away when I see a courier though. I don't know why, might be my social anxiety thing. Something about a guy running after me every time he sees me without ever breaking his gaze. If he catches me, and he always does, he freezes my body and forces me to face him while he slips a job document in my pocket. Terrifying. It's good that this mod keep him occupied with other people now. haha

3:17 I love this mod so much.... The first time I played after DL it and saw the courier running at me I was like "OH NO not again... " and he ran right past me to Bjorlam. Seems someone is opening a new museum in Dawnstar.
