sometimes conductors play something waay to slow, other play it too quick. This version of Dies Irae is perfect!

Currentzis' version 180 bpm. Bernstein's 164 bpm. Karajan's is at "boring" bpm.. Feel free to choose "your" best one depending on the situation. Tempo is relative and objective. If someone was used to listen to music played above 200bpm this version would be "too slow" for him/her. There are no rules in adaptation and experimentation. Bravo to the conductor the wonderful musicians and the sound engineers.
