I think the whole meaning of the meme is that yes, he underperforms greatly and the meme is sarcastic, BUT. I do think people still like him as a person, if he were to be some arrogant knob the chants and memes would not be so friendly. I mean look at Mazepin.

I’m so happy Nicholas got points. Tbh I think Nicholas showed that he deserved his chance to be in F1 during 2020 and 2021. This year he didn’t gel to the car like Albon and De Vries did. I genuinely think that if he had gelled to the car, he would’ve had another 3 years at least. Maybe he’s not a flash driver but he still deserved an opportunity. Many people didn’t see that because other drivers missed out on earlier opportunities like De Vries after winning the F2 title ahead of Latifi in 2019.

He should not be on the grid. He is not good enough, makes too many mistakes, and a complete liability to Williams. Money is the only reason he is there, and can’t wait for next season when he is no longer driving in F1.
