Really cool ideas! I really appretiate these kinds of videos, cause, as a big Tool fan and a drummer I'd really like to learn more about weird tempos and polirythms, and its not so easy to find videos teaching as good as this one. Keep up the good work! 🤘🤘

I'm a total theory novice. Can someone explain to me in potato terms.

I can understand that in the basic example when viewing the bar, it means 16 16t notes = 4 quarter notes.

But when the bar changes to 7 + 9 (I understand mathematically it means 16 16th's)

But what makes that specific bar's grouping a 7 + 9 grouping? (or for that matter, the other advanced groupings 3+3+4+3+3 too)

I`m still a total noob when it come to prog but the 1-st problem i see for me here Is how I would use metronome and then programming drums to not lose the feel of these groups of notes and not sticking to 4/4 straight
