I love when bands get weird! A unique usage of samples and interesting sounds overall! Yes never ceases to blend multiple genres and feelings into their songs.

This is a great album all the way through. Trevor Rabin on guitar, at the time, really injected new life into the band. I suggest It Can Happen, Changes, City Of Love.. really just track through the album.

I saw this tour at the Greek Theater at UC Berkeley. I was in a chair (actually standing) on the floor 12 rows back, but when Wetton would hit an open E on the bass, my eyes shook so much I couldn't focus. Such a great album, you will not be disappointed with any of it.

I am a drummer since 1974. An 11 piece kit of Pearls. I remember learning this sitting on the floor...no drum kit playing My thighs. Lol. And I figured out the bass line. The first time I played it right on My kit was like taking a drug. I saw Yes.

Steve Howe left the Band and joined the supergroup Asia. This is Yes , the new line Up in 1983. Great Record. Try The song Leave IT. Cheers

This album was with Trevor Rabin on lead guitar - he wrote most of it, a very commercial but unique sound. Time for Close To The Edge, be prepared to get a mind meld.

I am currently reading "A Genesis In My Bed", the autobiography of Steve Hackett, renowned guitarist for early Genesis. I bought an autographed copy at the Steve Hackett concert in Clearwater, FL. last month.

You're really missing the best of YES. "Roundabout" was from their best period (1971-1977, covering albums from "The Yes Album" through to "Going For The One"), but this song (and "Owner of a Lonely Heart") are from the 80s when they went commercial, and were no longer progressive. Their song "Close To The Edge" (from 1972, and at around 18 minutes) is widely regarded as the best progressive rock song ever done, and that's a must to hear. Cheers from Oz.

On that same album there is a great song called ''Changes''. Give that a shot.

Any long-lived band has eras to their style and lineup. 90125 was when the band moved to Los Angeles to be a bit more commercial radio focused - yes, this is after they toned down the progressive! Half the band left when they moved and changed direction and another half left after 2 albums. That's why in the 2000s reunion tour they had 15 guys on stage.

Recommendations throughout they years:
Old Style Yes - The Yes Album, Starship Trooper or Yours is No Disgrace
Let's Prog Out - Close to the Edge, Close to the Edge (whole album side, 18 min) or And You And I
Prog II Prog Harder - Tales From Topographic Oceans, The Revealing Science of God (double album, 4 songs)
Same Time as Roundabout - Fragile, South Side of the Sky or Mood for a Day
More like Owner & Hold On - 90125's Leave It or Big Generator, Shoot High Aim Low
About the guys who left Yes? - Anderson, Bruford, Wake and Howe (ABWH), Fist of Fire or Brother of Mine
Hey, I heard that the other day- More GTR featuring Yes's Steve Howe
We're Getting the Band Back Together - Magnification, Homeworld

This is from Yes’s 1980’s commercial era but their 70’s songs are their most famous( and they’re still touring now and were inducted into the R & R Hall of Fame in 2017).
ROUNDABOUT is their most famous song and other songs for you to peruse include Siberian Khatru and Yours is No Disgrace.

Good sci fi book "A Childhood's End" by Arthur C. Clarke. Some great YES songs "Close to the Edge", "Awaken", "The Gates of Delirium".
