It just sucks to be honest after hours of grinding finally killed the bosses but got stuck on 15 cultist kills on all maps, like how many fucking raids and hours do you need to even get that done??

I got the first quest done on ground zero by the bank and then I stopped progressing because Oni was a OP Tank. I lost more good ammo to the quest than it was worth

i feel like the events don't last as long never got to do the last part of it since Oni kept killing me

I did 12 raids the first night of the event, saw two cultists the entire time, only got one kill. Decided I had better things to do with my time and I'd see if they'd course correct. When they finally did I was busy all that weekend, so I didn't get to take advantage of the increased spawn rate.

Why have a Halloween themed event that ends several weeks before Halloween? Makes no sense. None of my friends had the time to complete these tasks.

I did all mine on Factory. Maybe i was luckier than most. But it took me about 2 hours to do. The problem I had with the event was how hard Oni was to kill. Never finished the second quest. That boss is ridiculous.

100% agree. I had only one day with good spawn rates on the cultist bosses since I work a lot. not a very doable event imho.

I looked for them for atleast 15 raids, ran night factory over and over, only found them one time. Stopped grinding it because I figured I had more time. Ended the event with 3/5 kills on the first task.

Only good thing from the event was bringing down the cost of the Customs Marked room key on PvE. I could finally afford a full one at about half the original price.

I completed the first part of the event and killed 5 cultists on GZ but then realized I could use these upped cultist spawns to complete Hell on Earth - Part 2 (kill 3 cultists with double barrel shotgun) and Night Sweep (hand in 12 cultist knives) and that netted me just under 200, 000 XP. It took over 40 raids and 4 days but I feel more completed than actually completing the stupid event.

Was able to get the first two tasks done in PvE, but it took a couple days of casual after-work play to get the 5 cultists. I spent nearly the rest of the event never seeing the bosses, just getting gooned on every time I went. Got the bosses Sunday night by bombarding the weather station with the AGS before rushing it. My buddies said they had much worse luck, one of em wasn’t even able to get the first task done because he hardly ever saw them.

I saw the Cultist bosses ONCE and I ran a lot of raids. I only saw cultists half a dozen times. (PVE mode, predominantly customs)

For PvE the cultists had 8% spawn chance on local raids but on servers with friends it had the increased 20% spawn chance. It was annoying, I finished this event completely but it's because I put in way too many hours I really hope they have a part 2 for it that is more fun.

Last quest was 105 total cultist kills, that's insane, I didn't even tried to do it, 15 per map is way too much, unlucky, I truly wanted the Reserve marked keys.

I agree with you! Thank you for speaking up about the event. I play strictly PVP at the moment and spent the entire first weekend of the event when the spawn rates were like 20% on all of the maps (with the exception of Streets and GZ), and didn't even finish the first task. Granted I got the killer of killers achievement which is what I was going for, but still, it took me WAY too long to even find them consistently. I was spamming factory over and over again until I gave up and started going Streets instead which is a map I can hardly run and therefore never go there. IF the cultists ended up spawning on factory, they would all be dead within the first 10-15 seconds of the raid most of the time or someone would push you off spawn before you got the chance to reach them. Don't even get me started on 80% of the raids when they didn't spawn.. If you are going to do a limited time event, why not have the spawn rates be high during that time? Sure, they did up the spawn rates eventually (after I gave up anyway) but there's no reason for them to be only 20% at the start when the event only ran for like a week or two. Having them at 50% or 100% across the board wouldn't have hurt the player base as most people don't play night raids anyway. I'm a night time main, and even then, you have to actively look for them so it's not like they're a bother to anyone. Not a very fun event and I'm glad I didn't bother doing the quests as there is no way I would have been able to complete them all in time. I personally think we will get a proper Halloween event sometime this week, hopefully. I believe this cultist event was tied to the new episode of Chronicles of Ryzhy and in fact not a Halloween event despite what most youtube titles claim.
