I ran Hakkas on my Volvo XC60 in the far north and they were highly unstable (happy Blizzak owner with all my other vehicles). Other people who drove my car reported the same instability. After I spun out on a major rural highway going 35 white-knuckled mph (it was icy, but a Ford fiesta easily passed me along with other cars prior to the spin), narrowly avoiding a rollover down an embankment, I loaded bags of pea gravel in the boot and resolved not to do anymore long-distance driving with those tires. I’m now running them in the summer to get some use vs tossing them and have gone to a less expensive yet well received studded winter tire (Blizzaks not available in my tire size). I’ll replace the Hakkas next spring – not sure if I want to chance Nokian tires again.

I don't know if I can trust someone who installs tires with an impact gun without hand threading because all good tire installers know that not hand threading can cross thread or strip your bolts. Impacts are for removal only!
