I do love how when Mob turns around the second time at 2:09, it's almost like Dimple lost his grip on Mob's brainwash, but then he just waves at him... reassuring his friend...

Dimple always wanted to take control of Mob. The first time he got control of Mob's body, he protected Mob from Mogami. Now, he was able to mind control Mob, and the first and last thing he had him do was go away to safety along with everyone. Dimple got what he wanted, and the only thing he did was kept Mob and everyone safe. Dimple was a friend.

I was so confused at first and then it just cuts to the beaten dimple standing in front of the massive psycho helmet and its simultaneously beautiful because you realize dimple is doing something so selfless and heroic but also heartbreaking for the same reason

When mob cried that night thanking dimple without even knowing why he suddenly felt those really made me cried. The scene was very sad to the core knowing that mob held back from dimple simply because of dimple's honesty. RIP Dimple :(

I... I actually cried seeing Dimple finally come to terms with his tsundere ways and actually give up all his godly powers and possibly even his life for Shigeo I haven't cried watching anime in years since Clannad I'm glad they really gave him the best send off you could ask for in anime... a meaningful lesson, a full character arc, and a tragic but meaningful death...

The only best friend that mob had, and the only person who stay true to mob, and always giving mob good advice too, and he never lies to mob even though dimple though he manipulating mob to get what he wants, he doesn't. He actually really cared about mob as BEST FRIEND, truly a legend.

2:24 . Even in his final moments of this scene, not only did he uses his hipnosis to allow mob not to see the shambles he was in, but still fought to the very end to not let one broccoli get even close to mob as he walks out unscathed. It shows how much he cared for a friend; a man, like Mob
