Man, this scene made me feel sad. Even though he got brainwashed, you can see that Mob felt like something wasn't right because he looked back multiple times. 😭

this is probably one of the best conclusion to a character arc ever made. Everything was so perfect and the cinematography was impeccable

you never realize how much someone means to you until they're gone

This was the best episode of the season so far. Dimple really redeemed himself.

It's painful to think of just how important dimple was to mob. He was not only living proof that spirits didn't have to be evil, but this scene was possibly the first time Mob truly had someone who understands the burden he had to shoulder for so long. Who truly understands just how powerful he really is, and therefor how strong he has to be to not only manage that power, but to stay humble and human while doing so. Only for Mob to immediately lose that person, and be cursed with never knowing what happened, only that they're gone and it hurts. This show is top tier in every way

Fun fact: In the 1st opening of mob psycho, it shows a broccoli and then that broccoli turns into Dimple.

Not gonna lie, I was tearing up during this entire scene. I was trying to hold them in, but I was sad. It made me realize how much I loved Dimple as a character, and I really enjoyed his time in the show. Goodbye, Dimple.

One's move of making Mob have to face Dimple after he has gained affection for him was GODLIKE

😭"you're a man. You're gonna be big" with the music and Dimple telling Mob to do something simple like get up and walk around sending him home, man... the tears soaked me

It's crazy to think that when this character was introduced he was a crazy cult leader villain who was disposed of by Mob like a throwaway baddie. Now look at him. That character arc was quite a ride.

I cried a lot with this scene, Dimple became a great friend for Mob, a very depressing episode.

1:14 That look on Dimple's face says so much. Satisfaction over finding a real friend and realizing how much that friend means to him, pride in that friend for having come so far and being able to witness that growth firsthand, and sadness over having to say goodbye to that friend just after they'd come to a true understanding.

Mans spent the entire series to control his bro, n he finally can get passed that massive scale of power to do so, and tells em to get to safety and have a good life. God damnit dimple.

mob walking away for the final time and the sounds of the battle happening off-screen, scene had me in absolute tears

What really gets me is the fact that Dimple chose to have Mob perceive him as his blob form while under the effect of the hypnosis.

He wanted the last time Mob saw him to be as his friend and not some gaudy god figure.

Am I crying over an evil spirit that looks like a green fart?
Yes, I am

The visual of psycho helmet staring down dimple in the background is so haunting. Shigeo being able to feel its presence through the brainwashing gave it an almost cosmic feeling. Dimple finally got the power he wanted while everyone he controlled watched. It being under the circumstances of his death adds weight to the sacrifice making it feel tragic

Even the webcomic readers who saw it coming can't help but cry. Props to Studio Bones and ONE. They really made something special.

Dimple really was his friend because he never called Shigeo Mob.
