To the international players in Europe who felt left out at academies; this is another door for you to play the beautiful game while getting an education and many of these Marshall players took advantage of that and bought home a chip.

Wow. Tonight has shown me that these two national championship games were amazing. Big shoutout to Santa Clara on the women's side and to Marshall on the men's side. A pleasant surprise.

This is something straight out of Fifa, (OT deflection back to attacker then off woodwork back to attacker). Congrats to Marshall though!

The Narrative every single game was oh they will lose or my money's on the other team as other commentators have mentioned. But now Marshall are National Champions and now no one can take that from them.

One of the most amazing stories ever from NCAA men's soccer history. Congrats Marshall, and kudos to Roberts and the guys for an unforgettable season!

Nice to see fans back at a title game! I've missed that in sports. And when they started storming the field the security tried to stop it for a moment but then was like, eh what the heck. Everybody needed that.

Hats off to Marshall from a Clemson grad. Y'all earned it by beating the best to get there. Be proud and enjoy it!

This is why real football is the best sport. Bottom seeds don’t last in other sports. A 7 seed doesn’t win the Super Bowl. An 8 seed doesn’t win the nba title. Marshal had to play Clemson to get in the tournament. And that’s hard enough. Truly deserved title and by far the hardest road to it

Once again the testament and will of a decided underdog comes to the forefront in amateur athletics, but this instance is at another level! Marshall hadn't even won an NCAA post-season game in men's soccer until 2019! Not only did the Herd win a title in their first ever trip to the College Cup, they became the first team in the history of D-I to defeat four consecutive national championship programs in the same tournament! What an incredible accomplishment! To say Marshall's path was daunting would actually be selling what they did short! Their run was iconic!

Things like this are why I love the NCAA tournament style: you win, you survive to play another game. You lose, you're out. Where else than college athletics do you see things like this? Congrats Marshall!

Want to know what really makes this awesome? The fact that for once, one team didn’t have solid white kits. Kudos to Marshall University for incorporating something that actually looks cool and unique.

Oh yeah, and winning the national championship.

Marshal dominated that whole game I don’t no what game the announcers were watching but when being a athlete ant enough I get that Indiana had two strikers on top but no positioning checking down to ball becoming a outlet for your team they don’t no how to play with there back facing goal top notch performance from marshal I wish they would have showed stats on who had possession it would have been a land slide and in my opinion the better team won
