I enjoy watching fishing fails as much as I like watching fisherman save stranded kittens, bear cubs, deer, birds, and so on.
As someone who doesn't fish, I have a question. Why do people use big nets to haul in the fish when the netting is obviously not strong enough to support the weight of the fish, thereby the net ends of tearing, letting the trophy fish get away?
Since fishing line, rods and reels have weight limits, why is it not so with the nets?
Or do you know if the fishermen are choosing to not invest in a stronger net?
