Visit Chi Phat, a village on the edge of the Cardamom Mountains rainforest in south-west Cambodia.

Listen to the story of Chenda, a poacher-turned tour guide who now proudly shows tourists wildlife which he used to shoot. “The jungle is my home and finally I’m taking care of it.”

...But the poachers are still out there.

Walk alongside rangers who protect the Cardamoms from the constant threat of poachers and loggers. Then check out the evidence room, and the weapons rangers face every day to keep the forest safe.

Immerse in the sights and sounds of the rainforest: elephants calling, great hornbills flying, gibbons singing duet and more!

The Cardamoms are one of the last large rainforests in Southeast Asia, and home to over 50 threatened species, including Asian elephants, sunbears, clouded leopards, pileated gibbons and countless bird and reptiles. Some species are found nowhere else on Earth.
