Haha, synergy was a good sponsor for this. The program uses scroll lock to toggle being able to let the mouse travel between the computers.

I use it to record with OBS. That way I always know if I'm recording by looking at the scroll lock light indicator. It's pretty handy if you don't have an in app indicator like Fraps.

Scroll Lock also makes an excellent key for a push to talk key since no matter what game you use it likely has no key binds for it. Bind it to a mouse button and enjoy not having to worry about changing the key per game.
