CSKA (Russian: ЦСКА) is a station on the Bolshaya Koltsevaya line of the Moscow Metro. It opened on 26 February 2018 as one of five initial stations on the new line.
The design of the station contains references to the Central Army Sports Club, after which it is named. The main colors at the station are red and blue. Signs with the name of the station on the track walls are highlighted in the opposite color to the background color: signs with a red background have a blue backlight, signs with a blue background are red. Decorative images dedicated to various sports are applied to the ceiling. The authors of the plafond are Moscow muralists E. V. Bubnova and E. E. Shcheglov. The panel is made in the technique of digital collage with elements of painting, photography and computer graphics and printed on aluminum panels using UV printing technology. In September 2020, Ekaterina Bubnova and Evgeny Shcheglov were awarded the 2020 Moscow Prize in the field of literature and art in the Design nomination for the artistic design of the station. On the platform are placed bronze sculptures of CSKA athletes, author Pereyaslavets M.V. The prototype for the sculpture of a skier was Nikolai Pankratov, a basketball player - Viktor Khryapa, a hockey player - Denis Denisov, and a football player - Vsevolod Bobrov. They were installed on round pedestal-columns made of light gray granite, each of which is marked with the CSKA logo with the club's abbreviation. The total height of each of the sculptures is approximately 5 meters..
