This series of interviews spends time with participants in our 2022 Ally Coffee Champ Trip, featuring their reflections on their experiences during our travel throughout Brazil.

In 2022, Ally Coffee was the official organizer of the Champions Origin Trip for the World Coffee Events (WCE) and United States Coffee Competitions (USCC) Barista, Brewers Cup, Roaster, and Cup Tasters Championships, where first place winners in each competition earned a trip to a coffee producing country. With a mission to foster the future of specialty coffee, we look forward to these trips as opportunities to bring the two ends of the supply chain together. After 3 years we were thrilled to embark on our first Champ Trip since 2019, during which we took a group of World Champions and esteemed coffee professionals to Ally’s home country: Brazil.

In 2022 we visited five producer and exporter partners across three regions of Brazil:
