The border needs reasonable policies AND a humanitarian response that doesn't involve separating families or allowing a flood of people beyond America's preparation to assist them. Why must it always be all or nothing? Why does it come down to full-on racism, vs. overwhelming our cities beyond what we can responsibly bear? The "two party system" has politicised and failed Americans and immigrants alike.

But what good is a good border policy if the country implodes from within which is what trump is openly saying right now that he will be a dictator in his 2nd term and will terminate the constitution. Lindsey is focused on the little things but is missing (deliberately or not) the bigger dilemma.
