My parents had been to the Athens concert in 2009. Both of them were very frightened that something dreadful had happened to him when the show was canceled. Thank God he's healthy now ❤

I have seen DM 5 times over a span of (well let's just say many years) and have loved every show. If you like their albums, you will love them live. Fantastic show and of course even better music that I will never forget. I am blessed to have had DM in my life for so many years and I can say with confidence that I always will. Thank you Mr Gahan for being such a great part of my life and may you live out yours in peace and good health.

Loved this band since the late 80's. Seen them in concerts in the 90's at the L.A. Forum and this year 2024 at the Forum and in Vegas, weekend of that shooting.

Having been born in 1971, and being a young teenager when DM was becoming famous, my looks were always compared to Dave Gahan. At one point, when I was 17 or 18, they happened to be in town (Detroit) visiting with Derrickk May, from The Music Institute - the originator of “Techno/House/Electronic Dance Music”. This was around the time they began production on Violator.

Anyway, Derrick took DM to a club called The Majestic, which was the Majestic Theatre, where I and many of my friends worked. That night, my best friend at the time, who was basically blind without his glass, went up to Dave Gahan, and started talking to him, thinking that it was me, until Dave said in in English accent “I think you’ve mistaken me for someone else.”; that’s how much Dave and I looked alike at that time.

Always a stunner! Have so much love for him. Saw their tour for "Memento" in Houston, TX, in October of last year. As a flight attendant, I had the opportune pleasure of being in the UK (namely London), right after "Fletch" had passed. I went out to the grocery store, in the Kensington area, and heard all these church bells. I knew something monumental had happened. DM will forever be in my heart.

I had colorectal cancer that spread to my bladder, and it did break into it. DM saved my life. To head that Dave had this just means more to me. Much love to my fellow survivor. Thanks to you Dave.
