A song from Todja, in the east of Tuva, which is covered with the ancient Siberian coniferous forest called taiga. A reindeer herder sings about his habitat, and about being so much at one with the taiga that its aroma is alive in him.

The song's name is almost identical to Anatolian Turkish. Ödügen Taiga = Ötüken Dağı. It's the sound of Teñri and of our ancestors. We haven't forgotten our kin in Great Steppe. There are many in Turkey who really care about our ancestors. Thank you for this great piece of music, it's the food for our soul.
