Every single time a new song comes out, I think, "The chorus can't get more intense than this, right?" WRONG. I can't wrap my head around how much sound is happening at once, it feels like they're bending time to fit more notes into each second. Absolutely mad and I love it. Kudos, kings. 🔥

Lovejoy is what makes me believe in evolution… like the first songs were awesome but now they are like unbelievably good.

After the allegations, the lyrics of this really stand out to me; specifically these lyrics:

"Tell me; what does your heart say?
Would you listen anyway?
I promise you I'll look good when I'm sober"

These lyrics coincidentally also point out that, regardless of what he MIGHT have did, it's important to realize that you should wait until everything's confirmed (bc it hasn't) in the lyric "I promise you I'll look good when I'm sober", and that you can still listen to Lovejoy ("Would you listen anyway?"), and it doesn't make you a bad person to follow your heart and still continue your interest ("Tell me what does your heart say?")

This is all of course a coincidence tho, and just an alternative meaning I decided to look into : )
