Dark Truth of Airport Lounges in India😢😢

So, recently I was coming back from Goa and decided to go to the Goa Airport lounge for a bit of rest and have some good food. But my HDFC Regalia card was denied for lounge access despite having 12 free domestic lounge access. That day I learned a huge lesson about airport lounges. Watch the short to know my learnings.

Even if hdfc regalia is accepted u need to spend 1 lakh every quarter to qualify for free access. Worst card and hidden terms .

Same thing happened with me in Dabolim Airport. It is because Good Times Bar is a Bar with dine-in facilities, it's not a proper lounge.

There are many pre requisites lik minimum spend in the last quarter- its 5000, for debit card..and 1 lakh for credit cards lik REGALIA

This is further devaluation of Regalia CC

Same happened with me in Bangalore terminal 2, they say their lounge is new and didn't add regalia card, but they accept regalia gold....😢

From April 24, lounge access in all yes bank cards will become spend based. You need to spend ₹ 10, 000 in a quarter to get lounge access. The number of lounge visits allowed will remain the same

Everytime there is a huge line in lounge, and the line moves really slow. And at the last moment, they can deny your card even though it's mentioned on the website.
Not go for lounge access cards as getting them is way harder than it seems, I haven't able to avail this facility so far, as it doesn't make sense to waste 2 hours just get food, which you can easily get anywhere in the airport.
Pretty overhyped feature.

Vistara and Amex are exceptions
