Thanks again Tim! You're spot on in your description of Jonsey's guitar playing. One of the reasons he's one of my favorites guitarists cause the heart and soul he had and felt he was able to convey so well with his playing and melodies. Kids these days and anyone studying rock guitar are doing themselves a great disservice if they refuse to recognize the brilliance of Jones and the Clash.

Thanks! That's one of the main reasons I post is so hopefully other guitarists can learn the magic guitar styles of Mick Jones and Strummer. You deserve the praise Wyatt, not only for your accurate playing but also for choosing the BEST BAND IN THE WORLD to cover. I love listening to what Jones actually played under the singing and how the melody hangs around the chords. In a lot of the live Clash recordings you can't really hear Joe's rhythm guitar. So you love The Clash too then yes?
