0:12 I believe the correct term is "declare a variable, without initializing it" instead of what you said "sometimes we want to initialize the variable without giving it a value".

Since this is a tutorial type of video I thought I should mention it. In everyday talk with fellow programmer I would say nothing. PS Great series, thanks for making it.

At 4:00, I'd have expected number|string, then number|string[] as a way to demonstrate both the simpler union first and the gotcha that motivates the parenthesis. (I don't teach, so ..., but) I think the "mistake" is more memorable.
