All these new set coming out still can't pit down those trusty ol' Prismas! The only pastel set I'd really want to try would be the Holbeins personally, just to see how those work, but I could buy sooo many prismacolor pencils with that amount of money...

This obviously took a ton of work and showed a wide variance of colors, some of which I wouldn't really consider as pastel. In some cases I picked a color next to the one you chose as a match. I think I must not have a true concept of the definition of pastel, and that I am slightly color-blind. Oh well, nobody can have everything! Seriously, I am grateful for your hard work and for helping us feel as though we do have many pastels in our Prismas. The amount of work that you put in to help those of us who don't know much about colors and coloring is highly impressive, and we are all truly grateful, Pamela. Thank you so much!

I don't have muave, sage, begie, cream, tan, periwinkle, aqua, lilac, jade, seaglass, eggshell, anything like a pastel Naples yellow or any pastel magenta-like colors and I can't make them because my only white pencil(Farber Castell ergonomics 24 pack by the way) decided it's lead was done being used. I remember that day vivdly when I couldn't sharpen it anymore. RIP ⬜️!

I got the pastel sets because they look so pretty and I wanted to pet those pretty pencils. And how can you pet the pencils if you don't have them?
So I bought them.
The brutfuners are really good when used along with a regular set of pencils. A good example is the set of polychromos 36 which doesn't seem to have many light colors in that set.

FYI to anyone interested, when I am desperate for a pastel “red“ I will use Carmine red from the Prisma Premier set.

thank you for a brilliant video! instead of comparing with the brutfers, i'm more interested in which pastel colours in the full holbein range do not have exact matches in the prismacolor range.
