Spencer, did you ever live in Ireland? Sometimes I think I can hear an Irish twang when you speak. Thanks for sharing all of your expertise here on YouTube!

To seal that wall before you put your skim coat on, I learned from experience using both, and from your videos) that they are so close, but Roman pro 999 is a higher, a bit more flexible, and it doesn't dry as brittle/ or hard as the Guardzs. It really does an exceptionally good job anytime sealing up the surface and binding it all down, is the job at hand. That said, after the skin coat, yes the Guardz is better because it dries hard, and if you don't want to prime/undercoat before you apply the top coats, the Guardz is a better primer (hold out) than the Pro99. Pro999 is cheaper and better in some situations (after moving stipple ceiling, after cleaning and sanding a surface before repairs and to "seal/lock-down" the surface) i.e., prior to skimming over orange peel, or before filling cracks you've opened up, holes beveled the opening for filler, or for a skin coat, or whatever preparation needs to be done (seal the surface) Pro999 is the best for the job. After the skim coat it with Guards, but there are way better options undercoat, for new dry wall that seal prime and perfectly prepare for top coats. "new dry wall" primers (BM $20 a gallon and it's great primer), can be thinner, tinted, etc etc. pro999 perfectly forms an acrylic membrane over the problem surface, although it is not as hard of a membrane as the Guardz, Roman Pro999 from my experience is perfect for providing that piece of mind that what ever I need to do next, the surface is ready for whatever I need to do next. All that said, everyday is a school day. When I watch your videos Spencer, and Iearn a ton from you and use tips and tricks I've learned on your channel all the time. Thanks again Spencer. And thanks again for the reminder to focus on the race to the top, and not the bottom 👍 and like you said, let's take our time and always do the job as it should be done. Great closing lines in this video "Eliminate the texture, take the time and eliminate the texture. Gorgeous. Absolutely gorgeous". Great work as always. Thanks for all the video Spencer and please keep them coming

I already put the Zinsser mold killing primer on my bath wall, do you think the peel and stick wallpaper will stick ? Should I spray some more adhesive on the wallpaper? 🥴
