I read the beginnings of a bunch of books... and have zero fracks to give at this point, apparently. Watch me get progressively more tired!

What a great idea. This will push me to make a decision about my ever growing TBR shelf.

This was great to watch and made me laugh to see your reactions; both before and after reading. As soon as I saw the Tidhar one I knew exactly what your reaction would be. I saw your comments on goodreads when you had to stop reading Sarah Canary so hearing your more extensive thoughts was great.

I like how this is a more in-depth idea of what the books are actually about than a regular “read the page cover” synopsis

Speak for yourself, Kaylee is the _sexiest_ mechanic!

I've never seen the unhaul version of this tag before, but it's such a great idea and I loved watching this video.

What a wonderful idea! I think I might give it a go, too. I'm glad it was able to help you whittle down your Mt TBR. I would definitely watch more if you decided to go ahead with it.

“Sarah Canary” is a treasure. I’ve read it at least three times. It’s not very heavy on plot, but long on both characters and atmosphere. It doesn’t read like SF, but I assure you it is.

You make me suffer for your sanity with this experiment! Hahahahahhaa... Good video.

I want to try doing this now. Great way to clear out those pesky titles that, in all honesty, I'm kidding myself about reading one day.

Catherine Asaro's Skolia is probably my all time favourite series. I would say please do give Primary Inversion a far go. If you read electronically, the author has a self-published preferred author's edition.

I need to do this too! I have so many books that I'm sort of "Meh. Maybe I'll read it someday." But I need to go through and find out if these are books that I will really even care to read, and get rid of some of them!
Love your videos!

This is actually a great idea! I've read The Three-Body Problem and The Dark Forest and am debating if I want to reread and finish the series, so I'll try reading the first chapter of TBP and see if I'm feeling it! Thank you for the inspiration!

Braided World sounds a little like what I thought Ammonite would be about. I'll wait to see if you finished it before checking it out :D

Such a great idea! This would really help me declutter my TBR, especially since it's a small commitment, one chapter, rather than the whole book. I find myself dithering sometimes over what I might be in the"mood" for.

I've read most of the Catherine Asaro's Skolian Empire books, and even with my mixed feelings I'd like to hunt down new books in the series. I freaking loved the Psi technology, and the soft quantum physics. I had difficulty with the sexuality/subjugation themes. I recall it being effective at making you hate the cruelty and the culture that trapped people in that cruelty. I'm not sure what I would think now, 10+ years later. Except for Quantum Rose, I didn't consider these romance novels. I remember QR had fantastic worldbuilding and an 8 base numeric system, but the "romance" was so MEH to me. It was not why I read Asaro. IDK, does any of that help you decide about Primary Inversion? LOL Have you read more since making the video?
