Basil/Sabja seeds are used extensively in India especially in Summers to cool the body. They are soaked and added to water, faloodas (sort of like milkshakes) etc

Chia seeds is foreign food in my country. But basil seeds is what we eat since kids. To me, basil seed tastes much better & cheaper too since it is local produce.

I have tried both Chia and Basil Seeds. I will now only use Basil seeds. I bought Zen Basil Seeds and they make better pudding. Research. I think basil seeds are the winner.

So far I have had no problems consuming the alternatives to Organic Chia Seeds!

The reason for this is because chia seeds only have 1 type of omega 3 and that is ALA. Canola oil has a lot of omega 3 and it's all ALA. EPA and DHA are the good omega 3's that you can attain from salmon.

I stopped eating chia seeds anymore after getting to know about it contained gluten and lectins in it that harm human health.I appreciate Dr.Gundry who always reminding us to eat healthy foods for our health and well being.

Chiaseeds all most choked me, I made chia over night oatmeal, and my throat swelled up very much. Hade to take cortisone pills to calm it down. It really scared me!!! Not so healthy when you can’t breathe!! 😢

So true. Every time I consumed chia seeds I would feel bloated for two days. I’ve tried different ways to consume it but the result was the same. Good to know about basil seeds I will try that out.

I’ve been eating (drinking) chia seeds for years and love them. After watching some videos like this, I switched to Basel seeds. Basel seeds taste better and have a much nicer texture.
