She is my favorite Batcharacter. It's kind of interesting that her enemies tend to be associated with the occult while she herself is mundane in comparison.

I love the irony around the character, she was originally introduced during the 1950's because homophobia was the norm and people were accusing D.C. for writing Batman as a homosexual (an Austrian man wrote in his book about comic books "corrupting the youth" and pointed to Bruce Wayne sleeping in the same bed as Dick Grayson leading some to think that they had a physical relationship), and now during the 2010's when the American public has grown accepting to homosexual relationships and romance they introduced Batwoman as a homosexual. So ironic, from the most conservative move done by any 1950's comic to a sign of a more tolerant society in the 2010's.

Kate Kane, who is Batwoman in DC comics is Bruce Wayne’s cousin. She is Bruce’s maternal uncle’s daughter. She also has a twin sister named Elizabeth.

This is so much better than the actual TV show trailer. It just proves that CW doesn't actually care about the story and its characters or even the LGBTQ crowd that they pander to.

I know it was kind of hinted at, but for those who are unaware of this, Batwoman is a rather violent superhero. Closest comparison I can make to how violent she is would be Red Hood (she kills enemies, uses guns, etc.).
There's a reason Batman doesn't trust her enough to let her in on who he is. She's violent, unpredictable, doesn't work well with others, and doesn't play by any rules other than her own.

This is how Batwoman should've been patried in cw TV show, if they had actually stick to the comic orign and included members of the bat family like in Batman bad blood the show would've actually been good.
