Tamil Nadu BJP President K Annamalai on November 21 praised and defended Prime Minister Narendra Modi for attending the ICC Men's World Cup 2023 final. India lost the World Cup final to Australia in Narendra Modi Stadium in Motera, Gujarat. Hitting back at the Congress, who slammed PM Modi for attending the finals, Annamalai said, "The PM was there in person after a hard day of campaigning in Rajasthan, he sat for the last 10 or over, and he met the audience... He visited the dressing room and consoled each player."

I’m from Udupi Karnataka, he was the SP here. He gained so much love and respect all over the district. It’s been 7 years now he moved out from here still the name Annamalai has special fan base in the Udupi district (I even don’t know who is the current SP of Udupi).. such a great personality. When I was going to Tution early in the morning I see him cycling and I used to greet him every day and very happy to him growing and still having same thoughts to work for well being of society . Tamil Nadu people are very lucky to have him it’s all in your hands now, I guarantee that TN becomes corruption free under his leadership ❤.
