Netflix's new Addams Family series 'Wednesday' is being blasted by the media for making Black people the villains and "queerbaiting." Tim Burton is being accused of being "too white." This after the media applauded the decision to cast only Hispanic actors in the role of The Addams Family.

Only thing that annoyed me was the occasional twitter feminism non sequitors that would get thrown out. For someone who supposedly avoided social media and had trouble with technology, Wednesday seemed very aware of "mansplaining", "male gaze", and "patriarchy" and saw fit to throw them out randomly during conversations that did nothing to do with such things...

I just watched the entire first season. There's Black, White, Hispanic, Asian, Indian characters. There's old people, young people, a hand, and a monster.. What more diversity do you want!?

My daughter and I started watching it this weekend. We enjoyed it. The thing is these Twitter people will never be happy. It's time to stop bending to them.
