►Help For Travellers

If you are travelling around Paphos and would like some hints about where to go, take a look at our eBook Travel Guides.

▬ The Kathikas - Panagia Loop ▬
Let me take you on a journey around the region of Paphos, Cyprus. Starting at Paphos itself, we travel to Akoursos, then Kathikas, Kritou Terra and Simou. We continue past Lasa and Kannaviou, before taking in the delights of Panagia. Getting a bit more adventurous, we visit the abandoned villages of Statos and Agios Fotios, before passing through Choulou, Letymbou and Polemi, and rejoining the main Paphos - Polis road.

▬ Paphos Coast To Coast ▬
Explore traditional villages, visit a shipwreck and some ancient sea caves, and have a swim or a paddle in some of the lovely beaches. And once you have done it, do it again in reverse, to finish it off with some spectacular sunsets.

▬ Kato and Pano Pyrgos ▬
Do you want to see a part of Cyprus that is loved by the locals but virtually unkown to international tourists? Then let me take you on a trip to Kato and Pano Pyrgos. Located on the North Coast of Cyprus, and on the coast road from Polis and Pomos, these two villages are packed full of charm and some lovely beaches. Throw in some abandoned villages and beautiful countryside, and you have all the makings of a fantastic day out. In this guide we show you how to get there from Paphos and Polis, before taking you on a tour of the area itself

▬ The North Paphos Coast ▬

The North Coast of Paphos is one of Cyprus' hidden gems. In this, our fourth Cyprus Road Trip eBook, we explore the area between Polis and Pachyammos. This includes the delightful Pomos Harbour, the mysterious Dragon Cave Beach, and the ancient Gialia Monastery. Not to mention numerous villages, churches and reservoirs. So come with us and experience a slice of authentic Cyprus life.

▬ Ayia Napa, Protaras and Paralimni ▬

The East of Cyprus is famous for its sandy beaches and party lifestyle, but there is so much more to it than that. In this road trip we take you around Ayia Napa, Protaras and Paralimni. We also visit Cape Greco and numerous beaches along the way, as well as other interesting attractions. We even have time to take in the new Marina. The route is circular, beginning and ending at the Sculpture Park in Ayia Napa. If you are based in Protaras or Paralimni you can start in those towns and jump to the appropriate point. We do however recommend coming to the Sculpture Park and starting there, as it is best viewed either in the morning or evening.

I used to work as a wedding planner for Thomas Cook around 15 years ago and a lot of guests had their receptions here. Bambos was the owner with Neemi and Cristina also working here, I regularly saw them every year I came back - maybe the last time I saw Bambos was 2020? I wonder where he is now, Neemi was last working in a restaurant in coral bay

Naamaste, is a great Indian restaurant, with a difference. Street food, absolutely one of the best we have been in.

Had several good meals in Romanticas over the years.(Receptionist at Amathus Beach, now Olympic Lagoon originally recommended it to us) Last one I can recall was about 2014/15, I thought it had been shut since before COVID but could be wrong? Amazing to see it in such a derelict state so quickly.

My granddaughter recently was here to eat and she noticed Dame Collins was there with her secretary and kindly Dame Collins was more than happy to sign Dynasty pictures and take photos with my granddaughter however, unfortunately the food was very expensive and upon leaving the restaurant Dame Collins was given flowers and gifts by the manager and my granddaughter received no gifts like this except a very high invoice for a steak and green vegetables.
