Mixmaster Review I Jackson Kayaks

Показать описание
The Jackson Kayak Mixmaster is Eric "EJ" Jackson's newest slicey boat design. With super low-volume ends and scooped deck in the bow and stern it is extremely easy to get vertical. The Mixmaster is available in two sizes, 7.0 and 7.5.

Although this is the first slicey boat that has been released by Jackson Kayak, Eric Jackson and David Knight released many slicey boats when they were making boats for Wavesport Kayaks. A few examples include the Ace, EZ, Big EZ, X, XX, and of course the Xxx. Ej's slicey boat designs are known for being aggressively low volume with leg pockets. While these designs are known for high performance, they are often sacrificing comfort so extra attention should be paid to outfitting.

If there is a boat that you would like to see a review for feel free to leave a comment. However, I do my best to get reviews out as soon as I am able. If there is something I haven't done the most likely reason is because I do not have access to it. Help me help you and ask the boat maker to get me a boat to review.

We regularly carry Dagger, Pyranha, Jackson, and Liquid Logic. If I can get my hands on boats from other companies (Waka, Zet, Exo, Lettman, etc) I will do my best to put out an initial review.

Key Words: Whitewater, White Water, Kayak, Kayaking, Raft, Rafting, Canoe, River, Adventure, Extreme, Dagger Kayaks, Wavesport Kayaks, Perception Kayaks, Jackson Kayaks, Jackson Adventures, Pyranha Kayaks, Zet Kayaks, Waka Kayaks, Liquidlogic Kayaks, Liquid Logic Kayaks

Hi, I just bought a Mixmaster 7.5". I was wondering If you knew the size of the Happy Feet that would fit in the boat (L or XL). I think you only use foam but, Maybe you have the information... I can'y find it online... Thanks

I’m an engineering student and through my mechanics of materials class is that flex isn’t bad if you have not passed the elastic deformation stage. That is where the material naturally rebounds to its original state. If you add too much rigidity to the hull, the hull has an increased amount of stress. This increased amount of stress can cause worse deformities like cracking.

On JK's pages, Mixmaster is pushed to the "Limited run and old models" section. Does this mean a new model is coming?

Do you have a liquid logic homeslice laying around to make a review on? I am trying to buy my first full slice boat I can have fun and learn in but also have something that is forgiving enough to take down something spicy! Your reviews definitely make a difference in my decision on buying a boat!

I think the boat that obviously begs to be compared to the MixMaster is the Homeslice. You made some points I haven't heard before about the MM. It would be interesting to see what you think of the Homeslice.
