Nice idea, here’s a thought to make it even better. If all the edges of the slots and top corners of the blocks were nicely rounded, there would be a lot less hash marks on the finished product. Thanks for sharing your videos.

Your little brother has talent too. I'm a mason by trade who loves creating thing in concrete too. One of my reasons for learning metalwork is to make my own plant pot moulds and designs. I have been using timber and ply but it is limiting in it warps and wears-out quickly.
