Fantastic advice about resisting temptation to start sowing seeds... I never seem to be able to hold back!

Great advice for those in colder climates, I'm in a warmer area in central California and have all my Brassica's out in the garden; a little late, but if your end of year was busy like mine,   you get behind in planting. Put out Swiss chard this week, which is my absolute favorite veggie in the garden. Love the videos, keep em' coming, I'm anxious to see your flower garden and apple tree area this summer, it ought to be really pretty. Take care, Kim

Nice video! One of the things that has really helped me is this year I began to work in a big store with a garden area. Every few days seedlings are marked right down in price. I bought my tomatoes this way as I don't have luck withy own tomatoes. I now have a bumper crop! It pays to visit those big retail stores to check they're seedlings as they often go up on clearance and are developing beautifully!!

Every year I have to hold myself back when it comes to starting seeds. I cannot wait to be able to start growing more this year. Some great ideas for things to keep us busy so we dont jump ahead of the weather.

What a great video. We gardeners seem to be bitting at the bit every spring. LOL. Need to get my paper and lists out, as last frost date is mid-March here. God Bless and take care.

Great video! I've had to give myself a list of other jobs just to distract myself from planting seeds now, i have no patience but I've got some indoor plants that are stopping me from going completely crazy while the garden is dorment :)

Hi Katie, I have enjoyed all your videos. It is so interesting to see how the rest of the world gardens. I am from Pa. in the US zone 5b.From watching I think our weather is somewhat the same. I have got some really great ideas from your videos"thank you"..I love the pond you made, I was thinking of adding one to my garden. Do you see an increase in bugs because of the standing water or do the toads take care of that? What if I don't get any toads because I live in the city? Thanks, Diane

save money on your seed bill by visiting the likes of wilcos and aldi at the end of the season. dirt cheap. but I always buy my parsnip seeds fresh.
