Can the males be readily identified from the females, by the Native peoples who would hunt them, before they kill a given animal? - If so, do they avoid killing any female whales?...as this might help to lessen the impact on a group of whales that is struggling to recover in numbers. Don't Any of the Native peoples feel any obligation to forego their selfish/greedy cultural imperative to kill these animals, in favor of letting their population (whales) recover?!
