I'm glad the show is ending on a natural conclusion because I imagine the show if it continued and milked itself further the show would've likely dwindled in quality and become the very thing it was mocking.
It's remarkable how they turned an edgy, grim nonsensical comic premise and turned into one of the best comics book shows in recent years with great characters, writing and topical commentary

My theory is that a train will leave Vought and betray Homelander. Every season we saw a different character betray or have doubts of Vought. S1 it was Starlight, S2 Meave, S3 A-Train and I think he will finally leave or die betraying homelander.

Being relieved is just overdramatic. Just because a show has more than 5 seasons doesn't mean it's "milking" the show. That being said, im also fine with it ending at season 5.

i don't always agree with your takes and will be sad with the ending of the show but glad that they won't keep it going too long and will probably end with butcher and homelander dead just as in comics and the last months of butchers life will be the last two seasons and i personally think a fitting end is both of them dying when or a few episodes before the shows end as i think a full season with out them would feel dragged on but a kind of epilogue if they do that would be good as a episode or two
