Today with @Ortho EVAL Pal With Paul Marquis I demonstrate how to perform Ulnar nerve gliding/sliding exercises. Be gentle with these exercises!! Less is better. Many people who have shoulder or UE injuries can develop neural tension that can cause pain and tingling down the arm and often times it can come from entrapped nerves from the neck to the hand. I just came back to say I tried this yesterday. After several months of frequent numbness, this release technique totally worked! It was so nice to sleep through the night last night without waking up from painful numbness. Thank you!

One thing that helped me a lot is moving my shoulders back and pushing my chest out when i did these exercises. Slumping and having bad posture from using a computer all day long seems to put more stress on the nerve

This exercise really helped. Your video really helped me. I want to say thankyou for sharing this knowledge with the world. 5 reps x 3 sets each arm, 2 times daily --> when I wake up and right before I go to sleep has really helped greatly. You are the man!!

Recently hit my funny bone really hard, the bruising soreness went away, but the nerve has been sensitive to the touch for over a week. I tried this and I can touch my arm without pain. Thank you so much, I was very fearful of another surgery (had a knee surgery). I’ll be incorporating this into my daily stretching.

I’ve been having trouble with a funny bone kind of pain shooting down my arm whenever I do tricep excercises so this is really helpful. I felt relief almost immediately so really hoping continuing it regularly will finally fix this issue. Thank you!

Jesus this is crazy!!!!

After having gone through 2 months of numbness in finger 4 and 5 I had following problem:
My hand would cramp up if I tried to roll a cigarette (or similar hand positions).

LITERALLY AFTER PERFORMING THIS 10 TIMES IT IS NOT CRAMPING UP ANYMORE.

YOU ARE A LEGEND, WILL KEEP DOING THIS THANKS <3

I had a sport injury accident at 11 year os age and was negelected in any way for many years I had neck and shouldewr pain and ny hand pain was radiate many years and now I am understanding this ulnar nerve has really done me in....

Honestly a godsend. I can't exactly afford medical care and the pinched nerve was interfering with my ability to work, but the stretches really helped!

I've just been prescribed this and the median nerve glide exercise after suddenly developing excruciating pins & needles/"I've been playing in the snow too long without gloves" in both hands, aches all up both arms and into the neck and some intersting "twangs" in the tendons in both palms, keeping me awake most of every night for the past 3 weeks. I'll report back in a couple of weeks - it's nerves, so I don't expect them to start behaving immediately :)

My doctor just told me I damaged my ulnar nerve and that I will be starting physical therapy in about a week however I cannot sleep so I decided to look this up on my own and I'm doing this right now before bed and hopes I can get some well-needed rest!!! Without the numbness and pain in my hand!

I recently got some numbness and tingling in a pinky finger, and doing this, I immediately felt said numbness alleviate some. Im gonna keep trying this and see if it improves further
