American Dad Intro 17 Second Speedrun (Wii)

After many hours of practice, I finally pulled this off. I used a glitch where you can jump out the window and go to the car, as well as a fast car glitch.

Ill explain you guys, heres what Peter did on the run:

Everything is normal, Peter uses “A” repetedly to jump out of the window, the game detects that you completed the Kitchen scene so the game gives you the Stan’s uniform, making easier for Stan, and skipping the Hiden Dressing scene.

Wait. I think Joe% is actually viable now. In the past, everyone regarded the floor-clip to be crucial to a run, but it was impossible for Joe because of his different feet hitboxes. However, this run utilized a new type of window skip that even works as a newspaper skip (lets call these Peter skips) and a fast car glitch. He doesn't explain how he does the Peter Skip, but I believe its possible by gaining enough momentum when in bed so that you can roll through the window before the hitboxes render. Since you aren't losing momentum as you would if you tried to go through the actual window, you can skip past the key and even jump into the car. PS (Peter Skips) can actually be done easily with Joe, however, due to his high acceleration rate and attack (though he has much lower health and defensive stats). On my personal copy, where I've unlocked Joe, I started up a run and mashed the d-pad backwards and roll button before getting up and beelining towards the window. The reason why I tried rolling and moving backwards was because after several failed attempts, I remembered that the game would put a cap on forward acceleration, but not backwards, so I thought that if I were to roll backwards repeatedly into the wall, I could gain enough speed to try to move faster than the games rendering itself. I tried this, and to my surprise it worked, and since your speed carries over to the car, I was able to actually hit a better time than whats here by using Joe. Of course, I don't have the evidence to prove this, of course (I dont have any recording software) but hopefully someone can use this to bring Joe% into the light of day. I should note, however that I only used a Playstation 2 for my tests, as that was the only version I had, so PS might not be possible for other versions.

Peter, I like this speedrun, but do you know of the bed glitch? When Stan jumps off the bed and into his slippers, tilt right immediately and you’ll land back in the bed. (Frame perfect) The game doesn’t normally allow you to do this, so it glitches out and takes you right back to the flag at the start. The flag at the start and end are actually the same entity, so it ends the run when the camera pans over.

I hear the Wii version makes the kitchen skip have a tighter window of timing, but the fact you hit it flawlessly is something life changing to say the least!

If you do a speed glitch in the bedroom, you can shave off 4 seconds, basically as soon as you jump out of bed you have to spam down and A to fly back into the bed at a precise angle, then hold 1 and left and you should go flying through the house, get Stan's uniform, and go flying even faster than the super speed car into the ending sequence, I don't think you can skip the end sequence but I'll try to find a skip there.
