How will the EU approach European security, especially with geopolitical tensions at record levels? Will the 'Green Deal' be watered down? What impact will the potential admission of new member states have? And how will the EU approach its relationship with the UK, as well as with other powers like the US and China?

Join our expert panel as they explore the key challenges and opportunities von der Leyen’s new Commission will face.

Panel

24:00 @Mr Zuleeg: 'financial markets'

ICYMI: we EU27 🇪🇺 are just about to kick little brexitannia out of the last bit of euro-related financial services by mid 2025.

You can bet your arse on us 27 🇪🇺 to NOT let any of our security related financing be performed by some random 3rd country.

I fail to comprehend why the likes of Paris, Frankfurt in cooperation with other EU based FS centres cannot perform the required tasks.

Greetings from civilization 🇪🇺
