as a proud support main, glad to know i’ve been playing it right. it’s EXTREMELY hard to balance peel and initiation, but the fine line is what determines an alright support from a game winning support.

1:15 speaking as a support main, solo players creating space is a HIGHLY underrated skill. Many supps like to complain about their backliners, but IMO, the biggest factor in whether I can do MY job, is whether the solo is doing his job in teamfights.
I can move forward and set an enemy up to be killed, but his whole team can come help him out and actually vaporise me instead... unless my solo zones some of them.
If the whole enemy team goes to attack my backline, I can probably peel off 2 or even 3 of them, but then the remaining enemies just murder my backline anyway... unless those other enemies are being zoned away.
Seriously, no other role is that crucial to me as a support. If one of my backliners is useless, that sucks, but hey, if he's useless anyway I don't have to care much about protecting him, I can focus on supporting my other backliner and we can work wonders together. I my jungler sucks, the 4 of us just have to work harder to get kills, but we can do it. If I am the only tank doing anything useful, though.... hell.

This video is much needed for a lot of people who play this game. The amount of times I have to sit and explain why and what others jobs are is insanity. It normally occurs with carry players and solo laners and it’s ridiculous

By the Gods, thank you, Intersect. This video, by itself, will increase the quality of Conquest gameplay by at least 200%. Having teammates who dont know Teamfight roles is 70% of the problem for Ranked imo.

sometimes im absolutely dominating in solo. Ill hit 20 when the enemy solo is 16 or something. It feels like i try to create space and the entire team just collapses on me and my team isnt there for me. Is this maybe just over extending? I float between gold and diamond, highest mmr 2200

This kinda video makes me excited to play smite and practice, but dunno if it just me but my games over the last week or so have been horrible, games that go like 40-3 or 2-39, an afk or disconnect or just random f6 at 10 mins, probably played about 30-40 conquest matches in the last 3-4 days and i've had like 1 decent match, rest have been shite.

This might be a hot take but as someone who enjoys support, I always tell my carries that they need to play around me rather than me play around them. Mostly because they can't hit abilities without some form of strong cc and if I'm trying to lockdown someone and/or try to protect them, they can follow up
