Does the Bimini top have to come off to fold the tower down?

Hi. I have a 2022 ZS232. I’m having issues turning the stereo up and down when people surf/fall. I see this new one has the option for the “driver side remote with volume knob” and I able to add this to my 2022? Thank you so much!
