A really short piece of Ludovico Einaudi who chose this traditional French song as the first track of his album “Le Onde”, published in 1996. It lasts less than one minute and it has a very simple melody in E minor. It’s very useful for didactic purposes since it can be learnt from a beginner and it can teach a lot of things such as fingers independence (one finger holds down a key while the others sing the melody) and legato-octaves technique. Also it requires to always play piano and pianissimo, which can be quite difficult for a novice student.
I’m experimenting with the editing, do you like the new texture of the notes falling down and the new particles effect?

Nice piano sound and reverb! Is that a Steingraeber? I also like how the texture moves with the bars. Didn't know Einaudi had a really short piece like that
