For someone who experienced a lot during my childhood, the more you guys continue to talk about it and try to engage with it, the more they tend to become prominent. This is because the attention and energy directed towards them seem to amplify their significance (as they absorb it). That's why I suggest that if you wish to prevent them from causing harm or reduce their impact, it'll be better to start ignoring them, almost as if you aren't acknowledging their existence.

There is no need to assume it's negative. So far all it's done is try to get your attention. Ringing, moving curtain, knocking stuff down. If someone died and has a message this is exactly what they would do. The dog at Bros did bark, but tail wagged like not aggressive.
