I've had my s8+ since it was released in 2017 and it has been my absolutely favorite phone so far in the Samsung lineup. If it wasn't for the fact that I started having some overheating, unreliable battery charging issues and has been incredibly slow despite me basically deleting all media and any unwanted/unused apps I would keep this phone longer than my 5 years I've had it. Hoping the upgrade to the s22+ will be worth it.

It's insane how many features they've removed. The S22 is a downgrade in a lot of ways. Shame on Samsung. Won't even include a charger anymore. SAD

My S8 has a horrible camera, sound only works part time, and Samsung apps appear non stop. If you add an app in error it's almost impossible to delete. Does the s22 act in the same manner?

Still using my lovely s8plus for 5 years!i did change battery once but other than that i just loving this phone

My s8 plus in that gorgeous purple died the day Avengers endgame was released. Rocking the s22 plus in pink now and I love it. But goddman, the s8 made me feel cool as hell.

Could you notice much of a difference between the 1440p panel on the s8 and the 1080p display on the s22?

Was there a big performance leap from S7 to the S8? I'm currently on an S7 (and waiting for my S22+ to be delivered). It works fine but it lags everywhere.

I had no choice but to upgrade to s22 because providers are no longer servicing tower signal for 3G/4G LTE phones anymore... RIP my s8+ I will miss you 😭

My S8+ lags like mad after years. It'll probably fix if i factory reset.

Pretty easy to copy 1 phone to another.

I transferred from s8 to s22 and my s22+ runs mad fast.

Clearing cache didnt help with the S8 so it's not that. What causes such log, same thing that causes lag with PCs? Meani g you need to make an image and restore far more often?

(What is equivalent to making an image for the s22+? Do i use smart-share or my verizon has backup services but i vould be wrong about that.
