July 4th Backyard Fireworks 2022

Here's my show - minus the finale, unfortunately. The final 2 talons I had set up on the finale boards failed. I didn't want to set a bad example for the crowd, so I decided to let it go in the moment. I did get it about 15 minutes after the crowd dispersed, and I will do my best to obtain the video of it - because it was completely insane. It took my breath away for a second or two. The camera needed to be pointed upwards just a tad more to get everything, but in the excitement of the show - I kept running over to make sure all was well, and it seemed good to me - I just wasn't paying enough attention. As usual, it ran way to fast, but I gotta say - I wouldn't change any of it. It's 18 minutes of non-stop shots. I spent two weeks looking at these boards, but in the heat of the moment - I had no idea where I was in in the show - and had little idea what was going off. I was only trying to remember what que to hit next. The first board stopped, and I did run up to hit it - so that's the brief pause in the beginning. My new phone's video quality is top notch - I think it looks fantastic. The crowd loved it. I don't think they're likely to forget it for a while, and I'm proud to say I've probably ruined all future displays for them because - as most of you probably already know - nothing is like sitting 150 feet away from this stuff - going off right in front of your face - and those thumps hitting your ear and chest. This was a truly insane show. It could have cost me ten thousand dollars and it totally would have been worth it. (It didn't by the way) Here's to all the pyros out there doing it for the love of it. To me - this is better than jumping out of an airplane. It's better than a lot of things we can do - and I'll never stop doing it.

Nice show - good pacing -and great colors in them - Nice Job Pyro. One trick that many do is for an important cue - like a finale board - you can double match the fuse. It does take up two cues - but helps ensure something like this doesn't happen - and in the end - it only costs you one extra igniter. Great Job...

Great show, loved that willow segment and then that 15 min was awesome 🎆🔥 👌 that's too bad about the finale but it was an awesome show regardless. I'm doing my show tomorrow, can't wait! It will be a similar show.

Nice show! I share your pain with the failed board/talons, happened to me last year... although i was fed up and trashed the whole system afterwards. Either way, plenty of shells, effects, and colors!

Good show👍 put in a lot of hard work. Mine ended up being more of a quick sloppy one thrown together at the last minute because it was only me

Nice show man. Mine ended up bn 20 minutes sent an entire full 4x8 board in 2 minutes as the finale was 100% overkill 🤣
